The Bulletin of the Texas Archeological Society (BTAS) is the Society’s flagship publication. It is one of the oldest continuously published archeological journals in the US, and since its inception, has published articles by professional and avocational archaeologists. The entire collection of BTAS is hosted by the University of North Texas Libraries.
The Index of Texas Archaeology (ITA) is an open-access resource of archaeological undertakings in and around Texas. It is the mission of the ITA to digitally aggregate and distribute redacted digital proxies of scarce, limited-production, and digital archaeological works produced throughout the State of Texas and adjacent regions to a global audience. This material is hosted by the Stephen F. Austin State University and it's Libraries.
The Journal of Texas Archeology and History (JTAH) was established to protect, preserve and promote archeology and history, through public outreach, publishing and distribution. The JTAH creates peer-reviewed publications that promotes professional and scholastic level research in the fields of archeology and history regarding the geographic region centered around the State of Texas, the “Texas Borderlands”.
